I is for ice pop ~ Rayanna gets down and dirty!!!!

I is for ice pop. Holla Dean, who is a day ahead of me, did I is for ice, while dealing with ridiculously warm temps here in the desert, it got me thinking about popsicles, but as I have mentioned before, I already have my P word figured out. So I is for Ice pop. We go through a LOT of them here, almost year round. I will make popsicles out of anything, and love unconventional flavors. Forget Cherry, Orange and Grape. Here is a list of some fun popsicle flavors you might want to try.

 Avocado Popsicles
Bloody Mary Popsicles
Cantaloupe Popsicles
Dark Chocolate Pineapple Popsicles
Eggnog Ice Pops
Fresh Herb Ice Pops
Gummy Bear Popsicles
Honeydew Raspberry Popsicles
International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee Popsicles
Jack Daniels Bourbon Peaches and Cream Popsicles
Kiwi Orange Creamsicles
Lemonade Cucumber Spa Popsicles
Minty Watermelon lime Popsicles
Nutella Popsicles
Orange Julius Popsicles
Peach Sangria Popsicles
Quick Pop Maker
Root Bear Float Popsicles
Sweet tea Popsicles
Tequila Sunrise Ice Pops
Unique Popsicles
Vanilla and Coconut Popsicles
Watermelon and Blackberry Margarita Popsicles
Xtra Healthy Popsicles
Yogurt and Fruit popsicles
Zesty Honey Iced Tea Popsicles

Each of these links to an actual popsicle recipe, but X, Q, and U are kind of cheats, as one links to a popsicle maker, and the other two link to groups of "unique" or "eXtra healthy" popsicles.

Do these Popsicle recipes seem a little too much for you? I personally prefer to buy mine at the store for instant gratification.

If you prefer to buy your ice pops at the store, I recommend these kind.......

They make great *ahem* toys, if you and your partner want to cool down in the bedroom.....Please, be sure you don't stick them back in the freezer when you are done.....

And if you are in a pinch, and don't have ones with the nifty smooth plastic coating, I'm told regular ones will do.....Just make sure you don't use cinnamon popsicles.....That handy piece of advice comes from a friend of mine who learned that hard way!

Well, I hope this post gave you plenty of yummy ideas for cooling off this summer...... ;)

  3. I haven't had an ice pop in years. You've brought them back to mind and I may have to get some, I like grape and cherry the best.

  4. Thanks for the links. We eat popsicles. I buy the sugar free kind. They're great for cooling off when the weather is hot and humid.

  5. I'm not fond of ice, but I do like that you're attentive of hygiene rules (fridge). Maybe it's because it always rains in this country I'm not so fond of ice. I'm sure in a warmer country I would think differently...
