My Week (Some Important Announcements)

Wow! I have had a crazy week, and I have so much to tell you. Lets start a week ago today!

June 26- Last Thursday, I finished writing The Prodigal Bride
June 27th- I edited the Prodigal Bride, Beta read a HOT little number by Dinah McLeod, (read about it here), and wrote my first synopsis.
June 28th- More editing.
June 29th- Submitted The Prodigal Bride to Blushing Books
June 30th- Received word that they had gotten it.
July 1st-Signed a contract for The Prodigal Bride
July 2nd- Starting working on my next book
July 3rd- Today, I signed a contract for my 3rd project- A CORBIN"S BEND NOVELLA!

That's right- I'm heading over to Corbin's Bend for a while, and that's where I will be for the rest of the summer (and some of the fall)

I don't want to give away too much yet, as I have barely begun, and there is not much to give away. But I will say  that Hiram's hottie bachelor cop brother will be leaving Green Valley to make his home in Corbin's Bend. What's a 35 year old bachelor doing in a polygamist community anyway? He will be much happier in Corbin's Bend, where he can embrace the spanko side of his beliefs and leave the other behind.

I'm not going to say too much about my heroine yet, other than to say that she is already a resident of Corbin's Bend, and she works as a sushi artist in her cousins sushi restaurant.  That's right, Corbin's Bend is getting a sushi bar!  AND- I couldn't be more excited about this- The name of it is Ginger's Paddle!  Look for more info and a roll naming contest in the future.

One last thing- I will be on vacation starting on Sunday- and while I might check in occasionally- I will be gone for about a week! I am going back to my home state to see my brother and also my bestie. Should be a good time! See y'all when I get back!

  1. What a whirlwind, fabulous summer you're having. Polygamists in Corbin's Bend. Woot!

  2. Yay, Book me a table at Ginger's Paddle :)

  3. Wow! Busy time. Good luck with the Corbin's Bend story. I can;t wait to read it.
