Hi All! I regret to inform you there will be no review today because...... I'm out Christmas shopping AND, more importantly, .........

So Anyway, as I was saying, no review today, because it's a holiday!

I don't care what you say, that is a perfectly valid reason not to have gotten any reviews ready this week. This is my blog, and if I say we're taking the day off to wish Addy a Happy Birthday, We are taking the day off to wish Addy a Happy Birthday.

WHAT???  You still want a review?

Fine.  (Buncha PARTY POOPERS)

This is my review:

Bratty Addy by Adaline Raine:

I really don't know why anyone decided to call her Bratty Addy for one thing. This character is many things, but I can't really see where bratty is one of them. Kind, original, funny, a good friend, and an excellent writer. A mother, a wife, a blogger, and to top it all off, a working woman as well. How does she do it all? NO seriously, HOW DOES SHE???  Addy is a fun, sweet, ray of light in our community, and so today (and every day) I give her 5 STARS!!!

This Review brought to you by the OFFICIAL BRATTY ADDY BIRTHDAY SPANKING CREW!!!

IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY....HEAD ON OVER TO ADDY"S COUCH AND GIVE HER HER BIRTHDAY SPANKINGS.......Uh.....I mean wish her a great day and a wonderful year........yeah...that....

OH, WHO AM I KIDDING......BUNCHA SPANK CRAZY SPANKOS......the lot of you....

GO on, already....GO.....

Rayanna's Review Room Friday~ Corbin's Bend Season 2~ Books 1-4

I finally had time and motivation to catch up on my Corbin's Bend Reading this last week, and since I pre-bought the entire season when that option was available, I will be reviewing all the Season 2 books, except of course my own.

Season 2: Book 1- Chemistry of Attraction by Thianna D

Retired Marine Brandon Delt moves to Corbin's Bend after his recently divorced wife marries his cousin. Tired of living a non-discipline lifestyle, he fully welcomes the openness of the Corbin's Bend spanking community. One day he hopes to meet the woman he could make his. He doesn't expect to meet her on day one.
Carodine Minor is just in Corbin's Bend for the summer. Just graduated with her master's degree in chemistry, Dina isn't sure of her next step in life. Not once has she ever considered being spanked. Logical woman that she is, when she finds herself intrigued by the idea of a hand across her derriere, she asks for a demonstration from Brandon. One demo turns into a wild night of passion neither wants to let go of.
Take one hot summer. Add in an intellectual chemist and a dominant retired Marine. Once the chemistry ignites, combustion is soon to follow.

If you don't know Thianna D is the creator of Corbin's Bend. It is this authors humble opinion that she could have written the entire series by herself easily. But she didn't. She opened it up to other authors in the community, and made it all the better.

Thianna's characters are deep and believable while struggling with problems anyone who has lived in or thought about living in a domestic discipline relationship can relate to. We saw this is Season 1, and we will continue to see it throughout all the seasons of Corbin's Bend.  In Dina's case, a highly intelligent, sensible woman, she has trouble accepting the way she acts when she loses control. And Boy, does Brandon make her lose control.

If any of the CB author surprised me, Thianna does the most. Looking at her other titles, I think I expected something a bit darker or heavier from her. Dark and heavy this isn't. Intricate, thoughtful, fun, and at times a little fluffy, Thianna's Corbin's Bend titles are books I could read over and over again. Anyone who knows me at all, knows that coming from me, fluffy is a high compliment, and I hope Thianna takes it as such. Maybe quirkiness is a better word. Thianna has a quirky sense of humor that I admire and it shines through in her stories.

Season 2~Book 2:  His Forever Summer by Tara Finnegan

Carla Methon has tread on a lot of toes, men's and women's alike. But no one could be more dissatisfied with Carla than the lady herself. With a compunction to throw herself at every man within a three mile radius and a serious case of foot in mouth disease, Carla knows she is in desperate need of being taken in hand before she does any more damage to her reputation.
Kieran O'Brien needs to escape a broken relationship and he invites himself to spend a summer with his brother in Corbin's Bend. But Kieran is a totally unsuspecting vanilla with no idea of the ethos of the community he is about to enter.
The pair strike up an unlikely friendship of vanilla and spice, with one stipulation - it is only a summer fling. By the time Kieran boards his flight to return to Ireland he wishes his summer could last forever. Can he find the courage, not only to admit the extent of his feelings, but to take on the role Carla so desperately needs him to be?

First off, Kudos to Tara Finnegan for taking a character that was hated by all for the entirety of Season One and managing to make her sympathetic- it's no easy task, but the author did a bang up job! And as a reader, can I just say how nice it was to see Carla finally get the spanking she so deserved?
I am always amazed at Tara Finnegan's ability to cram twists and plot turns into a story and still come up with a happy warm fuzzy ending.

I love that she took a totally vanilla and plunked him down in the middle of Corbin's Bend, and for half of the book he had no idea what was going on around him. It was fun to watch the lengths Carla went to to keep him from finding out- but she couldn't be with him 24/7, and living with his brother and sister in law, he was sure to figure it out eventually. BTW, the scene in which this happens is hysterical.

Kieran eventually has to make a choice and choose to put Corbin's Bend behind him, or choose to embrace it and learn to become the HOH that Carla needs. No spoilers, but I think we all know that as Jim O' Brien'd brother, he will take to the lifestyle like a duck to water.

Once again, my only complaint about Tara's writing, isn't really a complaint. But i sometimes have a difficult time figuring out irish wording and expressions. I'm getting used to it though, and while continue reading books as long as she is writing them.

Season 2: Book 3:  A Brush of Violet by Corrine Alexander
High powered business woman, Violet Walker, has long left her artistic days behind. That is until her best friend, Everleigh Harris, invites her to Corbin's Bend for an art festival. What Everleigh doesn't know is that Violet hasn't been able to paint a single brush stroke since turning her back on her submissive desires and spanking needs in college. When she meets charismatic and drop dead gorgeous Charles, her world is turned completely upside down. Will Violet, overworked, burnt out, and in denial of her deepest wants and desires, be able to surrender when love knocks on her door?
Charles Robinson, President of the discipline Board in Corbin's Bend and longtime resident, adores the community he lives in and the freedom it provides for all who live there. Raised in a traditional family; love and discipline are a way of life for him. There's nothing he wants more than a marriage just like his parents where spanking and romance go hand in hand, even if that means holding out for true love. Is Violet just the kind of woman he's looking for?
Will Violet risk the life she's built for herself in blood, sweat, and tears for the undeniable connection she has with Charles, the utter bliss and contentment she feels when she's over his lap? Can Charles convince Violet she really can have it all? Will this trip be just what she needs to rekindle all that she has lost since joining the corporate world?

Corrine Alexander has been around the DD/authors bloggers circuit for years, and I was shocked to realize that this was her first published story. Kudos to her for tackling such a big project right out of the gate. Your first story is always nerve wracking, and so is a project of this magnitude, so extra props to someone who can do both at the same time.

Now onto the story!HOLY HOTNESS! The cover is just stunning, Don't you agree?  This may be my favorite of all the CB covers so far. Violet is a character you can root for from the beginning and one I could certainly relate to. Anyone who has tried to quiet their inner spanking diva knows the pain that it can bring to keep in something that is such a big part of you and the wonderful feeling of being liberated that can come when you finally accept it.

And then there's the spankings. Um, I wanted to be Violet in that implement room! This was quite the kinky story with even a little bit of talk of clothing privileges, and other fun stuff. I hope Corinne keeps writing, and i hope she plans to tackle another CB book in the future!

Season 2: Book 4: The One She Loves by Constance Masters

Carol and Crystal love the lives they share in Corbin's Bend with their nine year old daughter, Brianna. Carol is a taken in hand bundle of fun but she is not a Susie homemaker. Their house is often times a mess. She'd rather spend time living life than cleaning. She loves Crystal and Brianna and she loves spending time with her friends. She often finds herself over her girlfriend's knee for a bare bottomed spanking for getting her priorities wrong.
Crystal is a fire-fighter and the head of their loving home. She's fit, neat and organized. Apart from her career, Carol and Brianna are her world, and while she knows friendships are important, she feels somewhat threatened by how much her girl shares with her friends and not with her.
When Carol decides she wants a baby, it throws their house into a spin. Crystal isn't sure and wants to wait. When Carol's three naughty friends from Leading the Way (4th in the Corbin's Bend Series from Season 1) see how disappointed their friend is, they help the young mom go on a sperm search with hilarious results. Only problem is, Crystal knows nothing about their hijinks. Can a punishment fix this mess? Or will what Crystal sees as disloyalty, tear them apart?

I'm a Constance Master's fan. Always have been, always will be. This was Constance's first F/f story  and since these characters have been around since the beginning of Corbin's Bend, I admit to being a little worried for her. I know how hard it can be to tackle something new.

I need not have worried. Carol came to life in her first book, and it made sense that Constance should be the one to write her story.Carol is younger, more impulsive, and a lot more reckless than her partner Crystal. She has a habit of putting her friends and a fun time first and worrying about the consequences later. Crystal's priorities are work and family, and friendships seem to be a bit harder for her. And then there is the added problem that the friends Carol shares a closeness with are girls, something that makes Carol more than a bit jealous.

Constance's book is full of laughs, friendships and real life relationship struggles that anyone could relate to. The hijinks Carol and her friends get into will keep you shaking your head and fearing for the fate of their bottoms. The sex and spanking in this were well written and while not entirely my thing, it made for a pretty easy read. In the end, will Carol and Crystal be able to find common ground and compromise on the things they both want in life?

My Favorite Things~ Ray Ray's Review Room- Mine By Christmas

If you missed my last post, I've decided a good way to intermingle into the community more (some thing I am terrible at) would be to show my author friends some love by doing reviews beyond the ones I do at Spanking Romance Reviews.

The other thing is somebody (I'm not sure who) started calling me Ray Ray. I'm going with it, but I know when they meet me in person they will be terribly dissapointed because I do not look like or act like a Ray-Ray either. I'm not even sure I look like a Rayanna, but that's a story for a different day.

So Rayanna's (Or Ray-Ray's if you're one of those people) Review Room will take place on Fridays, but I am going to do 2 this week because I was sick this week and read a lot.

Enough with the explanations already!

If you know me, you know there are 2 things I love- A good deal, and a good Christmas Story.

So, when I woke up this morning, I was delighted to see this FREEBIE by Sue Lyndon  (free only until Saturday-take advantage while you can)

Mine By Christmas is a short story collection of Holiday HOTNESS!

The First story, Marry Me in Montana is my favorite by far.
Amy and her fiancĂ©, Jake, are on their way to Florida for their destination wedding when a fierce snowstorm leaves them stranded in Montana. Not only will they miss their wedding, but they'll be spending Christmas over two thousand miles from where they're supposed to be spending the holidays. Even worse, Jake won't bend his old-fashioned rules and consummate their marriage before they say their vows, leaving Amy beyond frustrated. Of course, that doesn't mean she won't try to change his mind...even if the attempt gets her in trouble with her firm handed fiancĂ©.

Jake knows Amy is upset that their carefully laid out plans have been ruined, but he's not about to let her spend the whole time pouting. A good spanking--especially a bare bottom one--will help her settle down. He's not happy their wedding is postponed, and it's taking all his strength to resist the naughty little temptation who keeps winding up over his knee. It's too bad they can't just get married in the middle of the snowstorm...or can they?
OMG- Sue Lyndon knows her way around a good sex scene. As one who has a bad habit of skipping/skimming sex scenes sometimes, this one had me transfixed. Holy Hotness BATMAN!  I loved Jake's old fashioned values and wanting to wait until they were married, and I loved Amy's determination to wear him down in that regard.  There was a line or two that was slightly reminiscent of the famous Big Bang Theory Spanking Scene. I loved it and it made me smile. This is a super short story, at only 35 pages, but the ending made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, which is all I ask from a Christmas Story.

Next Up was Snowed In With Santa

Alana has no choice but to accept the seasonal job as an elf in the local mall, not unless she wants to lose her apartment. She didn't expect the man under the Santa costume, a volunteer named Jared, to be such a hunk, either. But just as the sparks between them fly, Jared tangles with a thief and is escorted out of the mall for violating the manager's 'hands off' policy.

Jared can't believe he was fired from a volunteer job just because he single handedly apprehended a thief in the mall. Worse yet, he won't get to wish Alana a Merry Christmas and ask her out on a date. What he doesn't expect is for her to show up on his doorstep in the middle of a snowstorm . . .
This one, from 2011, was slower for me, maybe it was because all the spanking was mostly erotic, and while nice, I prefer a good punishment spanking over a Funishment spanking any day. But it was full of Mall Santas, and snow storms, and naughty elves, any one of which makes for a good story in my book. Combined, I can't complain. :)

Christmas With The Professor:

Angela can't stop fantasizing about her former Psychology professor, Dr. Taylor. His commanding presence and deep, gravelly voice bring out the submissive girl inside her, the girl she left behind after her last Dom cast her aside. But is Dr. Taylor kinky? When she shows up at his house with fresh-baked Christmas cookies, she attempts to tease the Dom out of him and ends up getting much more than she bargained for - her heart softens to a man for the first time in years. She flees for the safety of her apartment expecting to spend the holidays alone licking her wounds. When an unexpected visitor comes knocking on Christmas morning, will she slam the door and continue to guard her heart? Or will she open herself up to a new year of possibilities?

I had already read this one, about 2 years ago when it first came out, but I gave it a second look, and was amazed to find out that it was only 28 pages. For 28 pages there is some serious character depth and background to the heroine Angela, who has had a heartbreaking submissive past. There was a whole slew of hotness in this one, and it definitely veers farther
onto the BDSM side of the spectrum while still being a fun lighthearted Christmas story.

So there you have it- If you love Chistmas Stories and FREEBIES like me, go snatch this up fast while it is still FREE.

Time To Get Serious- Figuring things out- Contact me!

I don't think I realized how much work this writing thing was going to be, and how much organization it would actually take. One thing I am not is organized. And, while I am a social person, being social online is hard for me. I have a hard time trusting lately, and I have always had a hard time with small talk. I'm also really horrible at schedules. So while I try to remember to post for Sat Spanks or WIp it up Wednesday, I'm not really good with organized blog posts.

I'm trying to change all that. In the past week I have forced myself to overcome my fears of technology and I have figured out hootsuite, amazon affiliate and Facebook adverts. Now It's time for me to figure out the easiest thing of all. Blogging.

Blogging is a lot harder than one would think. You need a gimmick, a routine, a thing that is all yours, such as Addy's couch, or Patty's truth and a lie. I think I have finally figured it out.

In the spirit of being open, and becoming more interactive with my fans, I am going to do something I should have done a long time ago. I am going to *gasp* share my email address.

So, email me. If people do, then I will do a Mailbag Monday, and answer any questions or talk about anything. If you don't want me to post a question, or if you just want to chat, that's fine too.  Email me @ rayannajamison(at)

The other thing I am going to do, is a review type thing. I already write reviews for Spanking Romance Reviews from time to time, but if I read a book I am not writing a SRR review for I will post the review here.

So, email me, say hi, ask me something. Help me step towards figuring this writing thing out.

#SatSpanks- Rosa's First Spanking Continued

Hi Sat Spankers! It's late and I am tired and super immersed in a Brothers and Sisters marathon on Netflix so I will keep this short and pick up where I last left off. I did skip ahead a little bit to get closer to the actual spanking action.
"Rosa, part of our agreement is that I will hold you accountable for your actions. You know that I cannot let this go unpunished. You behaved atrociously towards me, and towards Carolyn. Whether she deserved it or not is of little consequence."
He raised his eyebrows as Rosa opened her mouth to protest. "I know for certain that I did not deserve to be treated like that. You are perfectly capable of solving a problem without resorting to violence and temper tantrums, as you did today. I'm aware that this is your first spanking, and I will take that under advisement, but I'm going to warn you right now, it's going to be a doozy."

"I'm ready to get it over with, Sir." Rosa tilted her chin and gave him a brave half smile.

So that was nine lines, not eight. Sue me.

Rosa Collins was only sixteen when she received a vision telling her of her future husband. Knowing that her husband would be Lucas, the Bishop's son, and future Bishop of Green Valley, both thrilled and terrified her. They were a match made in heaven, she knew, perfect for each other.
But becoming the Bishop's Wife is harder than Rosa anticipated. She struggles to transform herself into the perfect Bishop's Wife that her husband needs.
Lucas misses the real Rosa. Somewhere between getting married, and becoming the future Bishop's wife, his beloved wife has lost part of herself. Lucas knows that a good, old fashioned spanking is exactly what Rosa needs to help her find balance in her unrealistic expectations of what the perfect wife should be. But, try as he might, that balance doesn't come easily for Rosa, and it certainly didn't help that her high school nemesis kept popping up and making trouble.
Will Lucas help her realize that all he wants is for his wife to be happy? Can Rosa pull herself together enough to become the Bishop's First Wife?

SatSpanks! #NewRelease- The Bishop's First Bride- Spanked in Hot Pink Sweats!

Hi Sat Spankers! I'm back, been super busy finishing up a book and having family in town- but I had a new release this last week! The Bishop's First Bride came out on Tuesday!

I have shared bits of this story with you already while I was still in the process of writing it but now that it is officially out, I'm excited to share a funny little bit with you.

In this, Rosa is in the corner, at their brand new empty house, awaiting her first ever spanking after an emotional outburst involving her high school nemesis...and a mud puddle.

The tears continued to fall as she replayed the day in her mind. She knew the purpose of corner time was not to get herself angry and worked up , but she couldn't seem to stop that from happening. The longer she was there, the more worked up she got. By the time Luke got out of the shower and joined her in the living room, her hands were balled in fists at her sides, and her face was streaked with angry tears.

When he called her name, she turned to face him--and exploded in laughter. "Lucas-what are you wearing?"

He grinned at her, and her heart melted. His chest was bare and his pants were hot pink, and about three sizes too big!

Ooops! That's my eight sentences! Guess the actual spanking will have to wait till next week!  Or you know the drill- If you can't wait until then, guess you'll have to buy the book! This is a blog hop so don't forget to visit all the links for more sexy spanky snippets!
